Summer Solstice | Ritual and Flow

One of the most powerful ways we can support and empower ourselves is by grounding into the rhythms of the moon, sun, and stars. Creating ritual around the seasons is a way that we can live more authentically and in alignment with nature. The longest and brightest day of the year, the Summer Solstice is a time to celebrate life, love, and inspiration - and the sacred connection between Mother Earth and Father Sun. Join Abby for this special event where, together, we will honor and ally with the powerful celestial energies at play during this time.

Autumn Equinox Ceremony

  • Santa Fe Community Yoga Center (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join Abby & Stephen in ceremony to welcome autumn! There are two equinoxes each year, the Vernal and the Autumnal, each with equal day and night. The Fall Equinox marks the moment when we begin to have shorter days, and longer nights. Traditionally, this is a day of reaping before the ending energy of the upcoming winter. This Autumnal Equinox falls very close to a New Moon as well!

Together, we’ll invite in this shift in the balance between light & dark. We'll ally with the equinox energy - the energy of falling leaves and hibernating animals - in order to inquire what is ready to be released. Our circle will open with calling in the Four Directions, followed by a guided meditation, a tarot pull to give clarity of intention for the newly shorter days, and journaling.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing - there will be no asana. Bring a journal, pen, and anything sacred or special to you to add to our communal altar.

Personal Investment: $10

Winter Solstice Ceremony

Winter Solstice Ceremony

Join Abby & Stephen to celebrate the Winter Solstice, the first day of winter, and the longest night of the year. The Winter Solstice is the day of the year with the most darkness, and is caused by the tilt of the earth in relation to the sun. On the longest night of the year, also called Midwinter, or Yule, we are celebrating the return of the sun. This day marks the time of year when days begin to get longer again, and we are blessed with more hours of sunlight.

In this ceremony, we'll celebrate rebirth and renewal, and reflect upon the darker days since the Autumnal Equinox. Our circle will open with calling in the Four Directions, followed by a guided meditation, a tarot pull to give clarity of intention for the newly sun-filled days, and journaling. Please bring anything sacred or special to you to add to our communal altar.

Personal Investment: $20
